Richard G. Skinner, Jr., MD 

Richard G. Skinner, Jr., MD died on July 7, 2019 at the age of 98. An innovator in the medical community, he loved Jacksonville and began Children’s Medical Group here in 1951. He had numerous personal interests but focused his professional efforts on improving children’s health and welfare for over 50 years. He was married to Ann for 60 years before her death, and he is survived by sons Richard (Pattie) and Allen (Debra) Skinner, daughter Dorothy (Nick) Palmer, and nine grandchildren. Contributions to the Richard G. and Ann F. Skinner Advised Fund will continue the generosity they practiced in their lifetimes.
